Advance review copy of the Suntup limited edition. Softcover, 22.7 x 15.2 cm, 241 numbered pages. Semi-glossy plain grey wrappers lettered in black on spine and front panel. The back panel mentions “Fall 2019” as date of publication. Frontispiece has the wood engraving “The Road” by Richard Wagener. Introduction by Joyce Carol Oates. Seven illustrations by Ryan Pancoast. Publisher’s promotional paper sheet dated “July 19, 2019” laid in. 

CONDITION: near fine.

PROVENANCE: purchased from Michael Swes on 2020. 

Issued in July, 2019, only 35 copies printed.  

                                                                                                                                


The source of the number of copies issued is the publisher, Paul Suntup. 

COLLECTING TOPICS: As far as I know, four copies sold up to the end of 2024 in a range between $250 and $500. As of April 2026, only one copy was available in the market, offered by an American dealer at $1,895. A scarce advance format.
